I just got finished doing a month-long program sponsored by Open The Cages Alliance in Baltimore, called The Vegan Pledge Program. Mentors and Pledges met every Sunday afternoon and maintained contact on email and blog. It was great. There was one pledge in N.VA who could not go to B'more, so I am mentoring her via email, and we have a meeting planned to go shopping at Whole Foods together. A Northern VA group, www.compassion4animals.org is planning to do their own Vegan Pledge Program, but on a smaller scale. You could contact them and they would love to help you out.
