If you knowingly participate in harming animals for pleasure, you’re forced to devise convoluted, unconvincing rationalizations and practice denial. This produces internal turmoil and low-level stress, and…well, doing the peaceful, right thing gets rid of all that needless baggage and game-playing and ignoring or engaging in self-deception about the ramifications of your actions. It simplifies your life!
