01|Feb|2007 1Ryan - long time! I agree with you on the trans fat ban. In addition, I’m afraid bans like this, which take away people’s choice to eat something unhealthy but potentially tasty, may make it harder to enact more meaningful bans, such as foie gras bans that prevent torture. The latter will be grouped in with the former, and/or people will be fatigued from bans that they perceive as inconvenient but that have no compelling moral grounding.
