This is how I turned into a vegetarian some 15+ years ago. I was vegan for 5 of those years, but due to all kinds of things I’m now “just” lacto-ovo.
Funny tidbit: That first week I only ate salads, plain ones at that, which was sislly. When the guy who egged me on heard of this, he nearly pissed himself laughing and gave me some anarco-vegan photocopy recipe/cook ‘zine (Bark + Grass or Soy, Not Oi! if I remember correct) to help me on my way.
They did too.
