I think raw foodism is awesome. One of my biggest complaints about it is that everything is so expensive. My husband and I were looking up some raw food stores and could not believe the cost of some of the food. Of course it is cheaper if you make it yourself, but the ingredients aren't always the cheapest or easiest to come by. Alas for now I will have to settle for good ol (but always delicious) vegan cuisine.

I decided to give raw foods a try for a week and came across your site while looking for NYC raw restaurants. PF&W sounds AMAZING! Thanks for that lasagna recipe link by the way.

When we visited New York back in April of this year, we went to PF&W. We both got the tasting menu, and one of my dishes was the zucchini lasagna. But just about everything was delicious. I think the carrot soup was the only thing I didn't care for. I absolutely recommend the place to anyone visiting NYC, and I will have to check out that book. Thanks for the heads-up.
