Loved the photo of your baby lamb, too cute. Did he/she (Hickory??) mind wearing the sweater? We are cat people, they definitely won’t do sweaters but many dogs certainly like them.
Interesting blog you’ve got here but I can’t say I agree with your comments re: vegan cookbooks you wrote about. Oh well, that’s what makes life interesting, right!!!
Hickory’s a he. His older brother (same parents), Clover, was rescued almost exactly two years earlier and is also at the farm. He didn’t seem to mind the sweater at all.
Please go on about where you disagree re: cookbooks. Dissenting opinions are welcome! :)
Thanks for your comments and advice Ryan. Regarding the vegan cookbooks, I have been very dissatisfied with Vegan with a Vengeance, given to me as a gift. The recipes we have tried so far (and followed!!) have not worked out very well. She also tends towards a lot of VERY sweet desserts and we are not fans of that.
On the plus side, re: vegan cookbooks, just purchased Vegan Planet yesterday and this looks like a keeper. I am also a cookbook author so its fairly easy for me to scan through a recipe and know if it will work or not. These recipes not only sound delicious and easy to make, they also don’t include some of the very strange ingredient combos of other vegan cookbooks. A big turn off and Im sure not just for me.Hope you will stop by Veggies,Yarns and Tails soon too.
Cheers, Huggs for all the animals and BFN :)
