  • Vegan eating in any restaurants, when eating in any restaurants in US, and you are a vegan, what manu / food you should choose?
    I’ve long loved this page and referred to it a number of times when I’ve been stuck, but I wish there was a “last updated” for each entry. Take, for example, the Burger King entry… it still lists their BK Veggie as vegan, which it hasn’t been for at le

    hmmm, when I was pregnant I was craving onion rings SO bad! Esp A&W onion rings, they had the childhood connection. A&W told us the rings had no animal fat/ingredients in them. I never got them because I thought that the oil they used must be horrid, or there would be some terrible hydrogenated stuff in the onion ring batter.

    I just saw the onion rings on Chris’s eatair blog - now THOSE are the ones I wanted when pregnant! :)

    Notice that Chili’s said that some of the items that might appeal to vegetarians are their seafood items? Idiots, idiots, idiots! I don’t think they’re serving sea vegetables there, so somone has the mindset that veg*ans eat fish.

    I can tell you from personal experience that the FlatTop Grill in Arlington is totally awesome and is very vegan-friendly. The employees I’ve dealt with are very accommodating.
