SoyaJoy soy milk maker

Here’s an interesting item for the kitchen: the SoyaJoy soy milk maker. Supposedly, it removes any “bean taste” and can also make almond milk and tofu. It seems pretty trendy, and perhaps unnecessary considering the wide variety of soymilks currently on the market. (randomWalks)

I’m pretty interested in the fact that it lets you make your own tofu. We frequent a Thai restaurant that uses very fresh tofu (we’re not sure if they make it themselves, but we highly suspect so) — and it is a delight. I wouldn’t mind making my own once in a while.

Okay, so it only helps make tofu in that it makes the soy milk… but they give good directions. ( http://www.soymilkmaker.com/making_tofu.html )

We use the Soyajoy to make soymilk for less than 50 CENTS A GALLON. Sure beats the $2.50/quart price for commercial soymilk! And our three kids can go through over a gallon a day. Couldn’t afford that with commercial prices.

love my soyajoy soymilk maker, but haven’t found a “recipe” I’m happy with as of yet. I’d like to get a taste like the “Silk” brand. Any ideas?

I, too, just purchased a soyajoy soy milk maker and would like to replicate the taste of Silk soymilk. Anybody out there know of any recipes?

go to Google & ask for soy milk recipes and you will get a lot of sites and some of them offer recipes for milk to
approximate ‘Silk’ as well as many others.
I have a Soyajoy and am so happy to have
splurged. Freshly made tofu is, simply put, heaven. From freshly made milk to tofu in about 20 minutes in quite incredible.

I have a soyajoy used for sale. $25 plus shipping. We didn’t use it that often and I only made almond milk with it as my son can not have soy – I just don’t find myself using it like I thought that I would. All the information is still with it (except the box), I beleive I also have a copy of the NUT MILK book if anyone would like it. Email me at [email protected]
